Spring 2025 Classes
We are thrilled to announce our Spring 2025 Movie Makers and Studio A Acting Company classes. We have some brand new classes, including an adult acting class and a continuation of our Dungeons & Dragons session! Check out all of the classes below!

6 Weeks
6 Weeks of working on acting techniques for both film and theater. Join others in experimenting with practical techniques that will improve not only your acting but your life!
Ages 18+: Thursdays, 6:30pm – 8:30pm; begins January 16

YOUNGER MOVIE MAKING
10 Weeks
Students work together to create their very own movie! Each week our movie makers will participate in the many behind the scenes aspects of filmmaking: writing, directing, camera work, set design, costumes, etc. And of course everyone has the opportunity to be in front of the camera and be one of the stars of the movie! At the end of our sessions we come together and watch the finished film on a large outdoor screen to celebrate all of their hard work. And everyone gets a link to download the movie to keep.
Ages 6-12: Thursdays, 4pm – 5:30pm; begins February 6

OLDER MOVIE MAKING
10 Weeks

OLDER GROUP Ages 11-18: Saturdays 10am – 12pm; begins February 8

BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE ACTING CLASS
10 Weeks
Through games, exercises, monologues and scene work, students will practice and develop strong acting techniques, building blocks to the advanced acting classes. These techniques work for both theater and film! Students will learn about the methods of Stanislavski, Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, as well as tips and tricks to build confidence and other life skills. Limited Space Available!
Ages 12-15: Saturdays 12:30pm – 2pm; begins February 8
Cost: $500
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED ACTING CLASS
12 Weeks (with extra rehearsals)
This class will focus on more advanced acting techniques, both for theater and film. Through advanced games, exercises, and scene work, students will continue to develop strong acting skills. Students will learn about the methods of Stanislavski, Sandford Meisner, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, as well as life skills that help develop power and confidence. We will put these skills to use as we work on a one-act play that will be performed at the end of our session in our very own Black Box Theater. Limited Space Available!
Ages: 14-21: Saturdays 2:30pm-4:30pm (extra rehearsal hours will be added nearer to our performance); begins February 8

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS
Come play a 10 week professional game of D&D! Michelle Byars is a dedicated Developmental Therapist specializing in neurodiverse children and adults. Michelle brings a unique blend of expertise and passion, having led therapeutic Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) groups for close to a decade. Her innovative approach fosters social skills, creativity, and confidence in participants, all while having fun!
