Winter-Spring 2026 Classes

We are thrilled to announce our Spring 2026 Movie Makers and Studio A Acting Company classes. We have some brand new offerings, including a special editing workshop, a film buff class and a new Dungeons & Dragons workshop! Check out all of the classes below!

YOUNGER MOVIE MAKING
10 Weeks
Students work together to create their very own movie! Each week our movie makers will participate in the many behind the scenes aspects of filmmaking: writing, directing, camera work, set design, costumes, etc. And of course everyone has the opportunity to be in front of the camera and be one of the stars of the movie!  At the end of our sessions we come together and watch the finished film on a large outdoor screen to celebrate all of their hard work. And everyone gets a link to download the movie to keep.
Ages 6-12: Thursdays, 4pm – 5:30pm; begins February 12
Cost: $500

OLDER MOVIE MAKING
10 Weeks
Students work together to create their very own movie! INTERMEDIATE ACTING CLASS
10 Weeks
Through games, exercises, monologues and scene work, students will practice and develop strong acting techniques, building blocks to the advanced acting classes. These techniques work for both theater and film! Students will learn about the methods of Stanislavski, Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, as well as tips and tricks to build confidence and other life skills. Limited Space Available!
Ages 11-15: Saturdays 12:30pm – 2pm; begins February 14
Cost: $550

ADVANCED ACTING CLASS
12 Weeks (with extra rehearsals)
This class will focus on more advanced acting techniques, both for theater and film. Through advanced games, exercises, and scene work, students will continue to develop strong acting skills. Students will learn about the methods of Stanislavski, Sandford Meisner, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, as well as life skills that help develop power and confidence. We will put these skills to use as we work on a one-act play that will be performed at the end of our session in our very own Black Box Theater. Limited Space Available!
Ages: 14-Adult: Saturdays 2:30pm-4:30pm; begins February 14
(extra rehearsal hours will be added nearer to our performance)

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS TRAINING WORKSHOP
3 Days
Intensive Workshop diving deep into character creation, RP and Role Playing, and Combat skills. Learn to level up, play a more interesting game and become an expert at Dungeons and Dragons! 1/12, 1/19, 1/26  / Ages 12 – 18 /  4:30 – 6:30pm

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS SESSION
8 Weeks
Come play an 8-week professional game of D&D! Run by our very own Alyssa Krasovich. Alyssa, a teacher and Camp Counselor at Movie Makers, has been playing and leading games for several years. She brings her expertise with acting and storytelling to bring fun stories, great experiences and an adventure of a lifetime!
Ages 12-18; Mondays 4:30 – 6:30pm; begins February 9
