A beginning/intermediate acting program for young actors:
This class is for new students and students who have already taken Beginning Acting1 and will focus on acting techniques for theater and film. Through games, exercises, monologues and scene work, students will practice and develop strong acting skills. They will also work on audition/interview skills and the business side of acting.
PROGRAM CURRICULUM: In each class students will learn and develop acting techniques. Students will learn about the methods of Stanislavski, Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler and other acting teachers through demonstrations, exercises and text work. They will also learn about the business side of acting: interview skills, audition techniques, cold readings, etc.
